Increased efficiency during your test plan generation and production part approval processes (PPAP): A new CASQ-it function provides increased transparency and a simplified method of comparing all the relevant design characteristics to be imported into your Test Plan, Control Plan and Initial Sample Report.
Comparing characteristics at a glance
In the CASQ-it software interface, all the most important views are displayed simultaneously to make it easier to compare characteristics: The characteristics tree structure, the respective CAD design drawing – including the stamp numbers, as well as the Test Plan/Control Plan/Initial Sample Report. If you select one of the CAD characteristics listed in the tree structure, the view automatically shifts to the section of the CAD drawing where the corresponding stamp number is displayed. This means that each individual characteristic is immediately displayed in the respective design drawing of the test part, thus providing optimum transparency (please refer to the illustration below):
Any altered or newly stamped characteristics in the CAD drawing are automatically imported into the characteristics tree structure. From here, they can simply be imported into your Test plan, Control Plan or Initial Sample Report using drag & drop.
More transparency, increased efficiency
The advantages are obvious: More transparent handling and increased efficiency and reliability during processing. Due to being able to visualize each processing step at any time – and the resulting optimization of the characteristic comparison process – your test plan generation, resp. production part approval processes are greatly simplified at this stage.
